By the Numbers
Character
Elan didn’t become someone his team could count on overnight. Over time, showing reliability became his identity — someone who shows up prepared, pays attention, and contributes no matter the situation.
What stands out most is how much he cares about the team as a whole. Whether it’s water polo or swimming, Elan pays attention to the energy around him — supporting teammates, stepping in where needed, and staying engaged from start to finish.
Academics & Athletics
Elan is a respected student-athlete at Long Beach Poly in the PACE program, balancing a demanding academic schedule with competitive water polo and swimming. Known for his consistency and heart, he stands out as a fast, instinctive defender who reads patterns others miss.
Any support — large or small — directly helps him continue building toward work that benefits communities, clean water, and a healthier environment.

Entrepreneurship
What started as baking for friends quickly grew into something more. Through consistency, word-of-mouth, and attention to detail, Elan built Max Bakes into a profitable, self-run business — serving his local Long Beach community.
He created demand, and he executed and delivered. Over 1,050 premium cookies sold and more than $2,000 in revenue generated — all while balancing school and athletics.
Leadership
Elan has taken it upon himself to mentor up-and-coming aquatic members on his team. From giving them positive support and rides to events, he’s been an active and supportive senior.
He strives to keep younger players informed and encourages them to ask questions — keeping them encouraged and feeling welcomed on the team.
Looking Ahead
Elan plans to pursue studies in environmental policy, with a focus on clean water systems, sustainable communities, and equitable access to resources. His long-term goal is to contribute to solutions that improve everyday life at both the local and global level.
